Since every comment here is negative about brass stealing...

Who ever let me borrow their extra pair of glasses late sunday afternoon, thank you very much! You saved the day!  :shaka:

This is why the "once a year pimp slap" needs to be instituted.

A law which allows you to pimp slap some shithead who desperately deserves it.

The police show up, because invariably the shithead is a whiny bitch that will call the police.

They check your record and you haven't used your annual pimp slap, so you're free to go about your business.

This is a fricking great idea. Think I need to call my council member and see if he can introduce this in the next session.  :shaka:

Next time take a pic of him and post it up for all of us to see. Then when we see him we can steel his brass

One day at the 25 yd range, I was shooting .45 auto.  I was in need of fresh brass for reloading, so I took out 4 boxes of blazer brass.  One box was the 45 auto with the small primer.  I noticed an older japanese guy walking around with a dust pan, but I didnt think anything of it.  by the time I was finished, this clown cherry picked all of the .45 auto large primer brass, and left about 35 with the small primer.  I asked him if he picked up my brass, and he just mumbled and walked away.  Yeah sure, from the outside it may look like I only shoot factory ammo, but that brass was supposed to replenish my inventory.  Now after I empty every magazine, I sweep it up, or if I am shooting with friends, we pick it up as soon as it hits the floor.

And another thing....
On the rifle side, I've been on the waiting list and had to wait over an hour while there were open benches not being used.  People were reserving these benches, for their friends who would show up late, and the range officers do nothing about it.  And when the entire group is there, they shoot about 1 round every 5-10 minutes and talk to their buddies around them who just so happen to be on the same shooting schedule.  3-4 benches are being occupied, but nothing is happening on them.  is it asking too much for these guys to just use one bench?????

I've been going to that range since 2004, Its been crazy the past few years.  I rarely bother with the rifle or pistol side on the weekends anymore.  On the bright side, I've gotten back into shooting trap over this time.

Rule #1 - Touch someone else's gun is like touching someone else's woman...don't do it!!!

holy crap, people actually are brave enough to touch other peoples guns?  I'd kick the shit out of anyone which touched my guns without asking!

The only time I take other peoples brass is
1. they offer it to me because they saw my brass catcher
2. it doesn't look like they care about it so I ask
3. they don't have the courtesy to catch or block their flying brass and it constantly hits me. If it hits me, it's mine

one time pistol side wasn't crowded at all.
plenty open spaces.
but this dude takes the spot right next to me on the left, even when there was about 9 open spots to the left and plenty to my right.
but he decides to go right next to me, so his brass is hitting me in the head every single shot, he has no brass catcher.
this pretty much pisses me off.
so I switch my brass catcher from my right side to my left.
now i'm catching all his brass.  and i switch to my revolver so i dont need the catcher for myself.
needless to say, dude didn't stay too long.   O0

They should issue your certificate with your tax refund so only  taxpayers get it, and you could buy and sell it on ebay.

You want my steel cases?

Ok, you can have them.

Yup.

Most of my AK's eject at a 45 degree angle forward. Into the grass where I can't sweep it up.

I do have one AK though that ejects HARD right.

If the brass thief is on your right, I'll let you use my AK to run him off.
