silhouette side a few months ago was a little crowded so i had to wait.  no big deal.  i'm the next in line for a bench.
so i see this guy cleaning up his stuff getting ready to leave.
so i think this will be my bench.
low and behold his buddy just parks and walks up with his gf and gets the bench from his buddy that leaves, and snakes my spot.
RO doesn't say anything.  and really no big deal, i just wait another 5 minutes for the bench right next to dude with the gf.
so he brings out a 44 and he's all smiles.
so i just stand back and watch as he shoots the 1st 3 shots 10 meters short of the target into the dirt.
I literally LOL as i see him totally miss bc he's flinching.
karma gave me some payback that day watching that dude flinch in front of his gf he was trying to impress.   ;)

Similar situation happened to me a couple months ago. Was waiting for a bench at that side. Guy cleaning up while talking on the phone. His two friends rolled up and took the bench his friend was saving. Few mins later the guys directly to their left leave and my buddy and i take that bench. We werent even planning on shooting .45 but my friend has a SA XDs45 that throws brass a mile away. so we start shooting mag after mag, laughing inside as these guys get hit over and over. We could overhear them complaining about it until they packed up and went to the pistol side. Dont think theyll do that again.

I think timers / meters could be installed just like at some tennis courts to prevent bench squatting.  It's our only freaking range, with extremely limited hours of operation and some people have no consideration for others so give 1-2 hours timeslots or something.  Just an idea.
Assault Rifle? What I have here is an Anti-Assault Rifle.

After repairing my target at pistol range I walked back to the bench and saw this Aunty sweeping up all my brass.  Before I said anything she took the dust pan right to the brass bucket.  I didn't get mad though.  I knew she thought she was just helping.
