Actually happens here too, just let them pass and try not to hit one of them... The kids love it when they wheelie...

Interesting video. I'd like to see more of the beginning to get an accurate picture of the events leading up to it.
Those guys are riding pretty recklessly (in car terms)
I would agree with the prior post and just let them pass, that usually works best.
It looks like one of the bikes cut off the car and then break checked him, causing the first stop.  Which is why I want to see what happened prior.
Couple notes,
car nor going outrun the bike unless top end usually
Better to drive slow to stall more time for yourself until help arrives
Best to stay in moving traffic and not get blocked in
Don't let the bikes dictate the direction you going

As far as their riding style, I've watched my grandpa guys ride before, Harley-s and prefer their style of riding instead. Side by side, road guards, move as a pack, etc.

The black suv accidentally hit one of the bikers breaking his leg I think, then a bunch of the bikers came up to the suv and starting bashing it, breaking windows and slashing the tires.  That's when the driver flees and the chase begins.  When he finally had to stop they beat him and cut him up with knives.  Apparently the biker group do stunts and stuff on the freeway at high speeds, not just cruise.

I would have started to swerve back and forth to try to fend them off.  If that didn't work, do doughnuts and run them over until they left me alone.  He clearly demonstrated that he can easily roll over bikes so I don't understand why he stopped like that.  If I did get backed in to a corner like that I would just throw in in reverse and floor it!  Call the cops def though.  This is why you gotta have a glove box gun.  Everyone needs one!

Mob mentality is a dangerous thing.  I'd NEVER get out of the car if 50-300 bikers decided to come after me FOR ANY REASON.  That would be a very stupid move!

I'm sure the swarm of bikes surrounding the SUV contributed to the initial contact with the biker.  It has to be distracting with that many bikes riding around you that close.  And add the darting in and out, back and forth, speeding up and braking fast ... it'd make any driver nervous!  An accident was bound to happen.  It was just a matter of time.

This is one of the best scenarios I could ever envision for needing to conceal carry, but I think the 7-rouind limit in New York would have made me think twice before drawing.  The driver could have easily been killed with that many people beating on him, especially if they used helmets and boot heels.  He's very lucky to have survived ... this time.
