I wonder how's the quality on the middle safe since its pricey compared to the ones I've seen at SA

Depends on the quality and percentage of metal used in construction.  You can have a small, skinny door that weighs twice as much as a bigger, wider one, simply because it is stronger and more dense (which is obviously better).  Personally I wouldn't want one with the hinges on the outside.

Hinges on the outside are not an issue.  In fact, they have the advantage of letting you open the door a full 180 deg instead of only 90 deg for better access.

There are steel bolts on the inside of the hinged edge, just like the non-hinged side.  You can remove the hinges, but you'll still have 3 or more  bolts underneath to defeat.

If you are referring more to how external hinges look, then never mind!   :D

Thought I'd share this video...seems like a old sales commercial for American security safes, but it also shows how vulnerable a safe can be on its back.  Make sure you bolt your safe down whatever type/brand you buy.

Could be a higher fire rating or higher resistance to break in.
