thats not good
we shouldn't give in one inch to the whiners.
what recent incidents?
anything actually proved to be from the range?

What the fuck?! I have a feeling that board meeting caused this.  We don't need more limitations at the only public range.  And what, can still shoot steel within 100?  Hopefully we can find out more about what happened and set things right

I received a forwarded email from HHAA that Greg Knudsen claimed to have found a bullet and was going to bring it up at the Hawaii Kai neighborhood board meeting this past Tuesday @ 7pm. I wasn't there but from this effect on the range, I can only surmise what transpired at the board meeting. Could be another reason altogether but until we receive a response from the rangemaster we can only speculate.

Hell I live in that valley... No way in hell can it go over unless they shoot over the trail....

Maybe those hikers threw something down from the top of koko head.... The trail is considered closed and off limits...  He must have been one of those idiots who voted to put the damn trees and grass median down lunalilo....

Same idiots who let foodland leave HK, now there is only one market unless you drive to Aina Haina.....

Who voted that jacka%&?

If it was a ricochet, it will be very obvious.  Will look for any followup to that idiot liberal and his quest to eliminate all shooting opportunities.

You know the bastard is working with others on Oahu to eliminate all shooting.  If they cannot ban guns, just make it impossible to shoot them.

what if its somebody at sandys shooting from there
what if it somebody in kalama valley shooting from their house

at my next neghborhood meeting i'm going to insist that all my neighbors cannot weed whack
bc all their grass ends up on my Mustang.
or regulate the water pressure on sprinklers bc of the overspray on my car.

or my friend lives next to a golf course gets golf balls in his yard
so now they should only be able to putt

Looks like it may be time to start writing the mayor and our representatives about this.  He already restored the range hours. Let's see if he steps up to the plate on this one.

I used to live in Kalama valley and on July 4 and New Year, someone could have ripped off a belt of 7.62 through a M60 and it would hardly have been noticed.  The place is a free fire zone.. Who knows what get fired in the air?

The idea of a ricochet, with the ballistics of a brick making it that far from KHSC is beyond insane.

I hope some calm person with that sort of knowledge is at one of the hearings with this agitator Knudsen.

Hopefully this is just a knee jerk reaction to Greg "The Cat Man" Knudsen and his constituents can vote him out. Will this be permanent? I know the Mayor shoots does anyone here have any pull with him so he can advocate on our behalf?

Funny how people's yards have bullets about 1 mile away and over a mountain, while no one in the parking has had problems with ricochets.....
