I took a physicist out there to calculate the angle; its 60 degrees.

Exactly.

But the reason I didn't want to bring this up was because the physicist also pointed out that the only possible way this could have happened is if 1) someone shot directly to the sky intentionally, or 2) someone negged into the air on accident. Either way, Sir fuckshiscatsalot probably would have added that to his already plentiful supply of bullshit.

I have extreme difficulty believing that the RSO's wouldn't catch something like that happening. That this , supposedly [ cough, gasp], happened multiple times, is beyond ridiculous. The entire range would've been obscured by the smoke coming out of the RSO's ears. The physics do not lie.

exactly.

try uncasing your rifle off the firing line and see what happens when they see you. They are trying to tell me that shooters and RSOs wouldn't have done anything if someone was firing their weapon at a 60 degree angle, which would mean they would have to intentionally point it into the sky? Give me a break.
Exactly my thoughts!

Can it happen?  Given someone with enough malicious intent I'm sure they could find a way to get a bullet up to Kokohead somehow.

Does it happen?  Well the range has been there for years.  The Kokohead hiking trail has also been there for years.  They're both older than many of us here.  Funny how all these reports didn't start happening until a small-time-neighborhood-board-member with an anti-gun agenda started magically "finding" bullets.  How is this possible?  See my first answer.

It didn't start raining bullets until 2013.  Did anything change?  No

Jim, do you realize it's unnecessary to write every single post in bold and in a larger font?
