Ono!... My brother will soak it in iced water for 2-3 days.  Adding ice and replacing the old water after each day.  He say's this draws the blood out of the meat which gives it a milder taste.  Wild pig "Kalua Pig" style is the best I've tasted.  Great for lau-lau too!

Curious what kind of terrain you're shooting these boars in? Looks like thick mauka bush behind you. What kind of range you getting on them?

Only opportunities I'm finding over here for rifle pig hunting are in pastures
