I would really like someone to go to one of his Town Hall meetings and ask,
1. given the comments you espouse on gun control in your campaign ads, and
2. in the aftermath of the California mass murders (half killed by knives, the other half by shootings) near a college campus,
3. Let's fast forward a few years where YOUR CHILDREN are attending that same school....
A - How do you define the violence problem in the US? Is it really about guns, or is it about mental health?
B - What SPECIFIC LEGISLATION would you demand for stricter gun control?
C - How would those new laws prevent or deter what happened at the college Memorial Day weekend?
D - With over 250,000 Americans defending themselves annually with guns, won't reducing the number of legal gun owners put more people at higher risk of significant injury or death than the 5000-6000 per year murder with guns in the US?
E - Do you admit banning all guns will solve nothing, just like making narcotics today and alcohol illegal during prohibition has failed to stop use of those products?
F - If your children were being threatened by a man with a gun, would you rather have a phone to call 911 and wait for police, or have a gun you are trained to use on your person?
G - Do you believe the right to own and carry firearms is an individual right, or should only law enforcement, military, and government security details carry firearms?
