I am a big fan of the AK platform but not many changes have been over the last few years. It looks like a new AK design will be coming out of Izhmash soon. Of course there is no telling if these changes will be made to the venerable Saiga import that the Russian - American Armory Company brings in.

If you notice, this rifle is in the "non-sporting" configuration and wouldn't be able to be imported in its stock form. It would be nice if the rails on the dustcover and front handguard made it over.
