Compare that to our Hawaii, where a bill that would have merely created a "study group" composed of 83% opponents of allowing ONE step of the three step in-person at the police station process of getting a "permit to acquire" and registration of handguns was not even allowed a HEARING before a committee.
Hard to believe it's the same country with the same Constitution.
