Carter,
I appreciate the time, logistics & documentation in the process of this sale.
Back 20 yrs ago, I paid 65 cents per cube, now Its $6.50 landed to my door.
Your cost must be higher due to "Hazardous Material Handling Fees"
As a customer, thank you for offering low prices in ammo/firearms!
Aloha
Thanks for your business! It ends up about $8-10/cf as long as we are careful to consolidate and have our shipments repacked in California.
Some of the really expensive things are low cost but large footprint, like Birdshot (Hear that Q?)
The biggest difference is buying ammo pre-palletized when we can. We get a price break and we spilt it with our customers.
I get a lot of people asking me when the "next time" something is going to go on sale. The reality is that our pricing is based on a % over our cost, so when I manage to score a really good deal, we all make out.
Its funny, but the more the ammo flows, the easier it is to keep the price down and make my profit on volume. When people wait for only sales, it drives the average price up and makes the sales happen less frequently.
