Thanks for sharing.  I've seen a few of these tests (although not nearly as thorough) and it seems like Frog Lube always comes out strong.

Yeah
I've seen the older, more famous ones
But this one is super recent

I have seen some recent claims, however, that excess froglube in certain areas such as firing pins in cold conditions can gum up

I can tell you first hand that Gunzilla gums up and solidifies over time.

Gunzilla was good in the begInning, but after awhile in storage, my guns had sludge build up, no bueno. :grrr:

I have been using Fireclean for awhile now and I am quite impressed with the product.  Here is some discussion about Frog Lube vs Fireclean

http://forum.snipershide.com/snipers-hide-side-arms-k-bars/190498-fireclean-froglube.html

A few drops go a long way. Cleans and lubricates without an odor.

I have Froglube and it takes more time to properly use it. It's best to heat it up with a blowdryer so count that towards your time.
Google it cause every question is a dumb question.

+1

I have a heat gun which makes it a lot easier but the application process, especially the initial one, takes more time.  The good thing is you can pretty much get it everywhere and not have to worry since it's food grade safe.  That was my main selling point since I have to clean in a condo so ventilation is an issue.  Those of you that are currently using a petro-based lube will have to degrease before you apply.  You can use the Frog Lube solvent or alcohol, simple green, etc. would probably work too.
