Editing and losing font size values
« on: June 01, 2011, 03:59:49 PM »
Heya!  O0

When you edit a post that has font size values and submit it again, any newly inputted font size values are reset to default.

So I originally post:

Today is a nice day.

Then hit edit. In the edit screen before submitting it again, I type in:

Today is a nice day.

When I submit it, it shows:

Today is a nice day.

When you're editing a post with font-size adjustments, click your cursor to any point in that font-enlarged word and you'll see "Font Size" as an empty value up on top by "Font Face" and "Change Color". If you font-enlarge while you're editing the post, then it will show up in the new post. Old font-enlargements will default unless you re-font during editing.
Whew

Forgot to mention...this is while using "Toggle View". That red "A" up top there above the "crazy" and "love" smiley.

I can't post here without toggling the view. Too much [b.] [/b.] [I.] etc etc etc. lol  :shaka:

Unfortunately I don't write the code that goes into the WYSIWYG editor. I've noticed quite a few problems with it as well and use the normal editor. Sorry for the problems and hopefully some day the SMF people fix it.

I don't know if it was my browser or not, but I was getting pretty annoyed at having the text I wanted to edit "jump down" to the bottom of the editing window every time I cursored to that spot and started typing.

Apparently, either an update to IE or action on "your" part cured that.  If it was you, thanks.
