i downloaded this load data from Ramshot.com but it seems like 115gr hornady is not on that list

So you are ready to load those shiny tumbled shells eh?

I can't help you with that specific powder, but I have a little experience with loading 9mm in many flavors.
My standing offer to assist beginners is still good.
If you don't have a buddy that already loads 9mm, you are welcomed to come over to my house and I can
give you a quick lesson on loading for the 9. Or I can drop by your place and check out your gear. Send me a PM if you want to do that.

For now, how about a little more info:

1- what make/ model gun?
2- what is the Hornady part# of the bullet?
3- what ammo have you been shooting up to now?
4- what loading press are you going to use?
5- have you ever reloaded any cartridge before?

===================
I am headed out to KHSC on Wed. 7/2 if you want to go shoot something.
What, Me Worry?

Did you use a taper crimp? Avoid the Lee final crimp die.
See my thread on the " xtp project" for some loading tips.

My observation was that ramshot data for the 115 grain bullets were closer to 6 grains.
You might want to try load a few with a higher charge. Maybe 5.7.

Were you da guy I was talking to at the range a couple weeks ago?
We spoke about the collapsing trigger on his g34.

Use what you got. See if it works.
I think some fellas had a problem with that FC die reducing the bullet diameter causing poor fit in the bore.
Accuracy was affected. In extreme cases it could cause tumbling in flight.
Low power loads could aggravate the problem by not upsetting the bullet enough to fill the bore.
But if it works for you, then no worries. When you test fire, look for scattered shots and oblong holes in the paper.

I use a spare sizing die to taper crimp the 9mm. But you gotta know what you doing.  If you you use some of the crimp dies they tend to overdo it.

Absolutely not a dumb question.
No, FC die is not the same as a taper crimp die at all.

i finished 98 rounds of new reload. 49 rd of 5.2 gr of powder and 49 rd of 5.5 gr. will try it on friday. i have 2 bobos. seems like the casing was over flared and the bullet was push down too much.

btw each round was carefully metered and weigh to those specific grain. thats why took me that long.
