Those guys told me they did not have any pistol powder.
N105 is perfect for my 10mm. Was it more than 40.00 per pound?

It is good that lem coached you.

I don't have any personal experience with Clays but from the Hodgon's website they recommend a maximum of 3.0gr of Clays with 124gr bullet. They recommend a starting load of 2.7gr which is 10% of their recommended maximum. I would recommend you start with 2.7gr and work up from there.

With the very small volume of the 9mms pistol case I would increase by .2-.3 grains or so to the maximum, watching closely the primer for pressure signs, major increase of recoil, case bodies.

Look to pressure with a few test cases first, maybe 5 rounds at each increment. That way you are not wasting a bunch of ammo on loads that won't work.  If you encounter pressure signs, stop there and call that MAX for your gun....  every gun is different some can handle more than others....   When you are confident your gun is ok with the loads,  look to best accuracy around the speed you are trying to achieve.  Probably around where the RO is at..  they know their stuff.
