I can't possibly look at more than one candidate's website at a time, since this would cause brain damage. I just finished looking at Aiona's website. "Trust. Respect. Balance." Yeah, that's all I see. How vague can one be? That could mean
anything about
anything. I know I don't "Trust" any candidate who doesn't have enough "Respect" for voters to publish the entire list of his specific detailed policy positions on his campaign website (nor anywhere else that I can see). I guess that's his idea of "Balance". Utter vague generic feel-good slogans with lots of photos of your kids and grandkid and assume people will, on "Balance" decide to vote for you, even though you are unwilling to tell them what you would specifically actually do as governor.

The only specifics re policies I see on the site are about homelessness and taking 25% of the corporate income taxes to build "affordable housing" for the "cost burdened". Uh huh. So much for "small(er) government". Looks like a RINO (and in my view even the non-RINO Rs suck). I wrote asking for specific positions on all public policy issues (none of which, other than the two mentioned, appear on the site), especially his specific positions re Second Amendment issues. I'm not holding my breath. I suspect "he supports the Second Amendment" might be as "specific" as his campaign allows him to be, but perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised. Maybe he'll write that if elected he will mandate that the State of Hawaii will immediately conform to the Peruta dictates and the state will immediately be "shall issue". Any bets?
Maybe after a 24 hour recovery period I'll be ready to look at the Ige site. No way am I going to look at the Abercrombie site. Ever.
