"God does look after..."

Thought I'd share a Story from Vortex Optics FB page.

VIP Story - “God does look after ‘stupid’ people”
 David L.

This was my Savage 111LRH 338 Lapua I had accidentally loaded it with Hodgdon H-110 handgun powder instead of H-1000 rifle powder so when I touched it off the whole gun blew up like a bomb with bits a pieces flying. Your scope forced all the shrapnel down and away from everyone, I had the top straps miss my left arm by a 1/2 inch. If your scope wasn't on the rifle or if your scope was built so well that shrapnel would have been sent outward and may have hit and injured people standing by. I myself by the grace of God only got 3 little nicks where I could have been severely injured or killed. Yes God does look after stupid people!

I don't about the rest of you I practice reloading with checks and double checks. I only keep one powder on my bench while reloading and I double check and triple check which powder I am supposed to use. I keep the powder in a different location from my bench so the act of choosing the powder is a deliberate one. I keep the label facing me while I reload just so I can continue to reinforce to my brain that I am using the correct powder. I do the same thing with primers and I constantly check and triple check the loads I am using. I even write down what I am going to load during that session with a list of components just to make sure I am doing it right from the beginning. I am terrified of an exploding firearm.
SCIENCE THAT CAN’T BE QUESTIONED IS PROPAGANDA!!!
