Because Hawaii is full of fucktards, that's why.
Now, now, I guarantee you there are a few 2AHawaii members that voted for him.

I am wondering how the 2a issue stacks up to the winners in the state race.  I have to find some time to look over JI's spread sheet and compare to the winners.

And people wonder why I hate the mindless, Democrat slave idiots that infest the islands.

It boggles the mind that these morons would throw out Aberzombie, but elect a watered version of him for Governor. That's right, I'll say it: Ige is Aberzombie lite.

And don't even get me started on that brainless twit Schatz.

Here are some comments from Gary Johnson, former Republican governor of New Mexico, and 2012 Libertarian candidate for president, who has announced that he will seek the nomination again in 2016. I think it says something about why so few people vote in the first place and the lack of enthusiasm from many who do ("This is Election Day. Excuse me while I go barf, and vote tactically for the candidate who I figure will steal the least of my shit, and beat me with the softest hose." -- Geek With A .45 November 4, 2014).

http://www.newsmax.com/Newsmax-Tv/Gary-Johnson-libertarian-president-change/2014/11/03/id/604938/

"The whole election is a big yawn. Who cares who wins, because nothing's really going to change? It's like a debate between Coke and Pepsi. They're debating over which one tastes better," he said.

"They start talking about tax policy, Coke wants to reduce the corporate tax rate to 30 percent, and Pepsi wants to drop it to 28 percent.

"Where's the libertarian viewpoint, which says do away with it completely? Do away with income tax, corporate tax? Abolish the IRS. If you're going to replace it with anything, replace it with a national consumption tax. That's real meat on the bones. I just don't see any meat anywhere."...

"People are clamoring to hear good ideas as opposed to the lesser of two evils . . . Either the Democrats are going to win or the Republicans are going to win, but the losers are all of us out here as citizens that really do want meaningful change, and none of it's happening. There's no dialogue regarding meaningful change."

Instead of trial by combat like on Game of Thrones, I say we pass a bill called 'Election by Combat', in which you can challenge a piece of shit legislator to a duel to the death when they do not uphold their oath of office and/or violate the constitution, in order to take their legislative seat.

Schatz...your soul is mine.
Q... if you apply that standard (violation of oath of office to uphold the Constitution) to all the legislators at all levels in Hawaii there's gonna have to be daily combat for many months to work through that huge pile of dung. Just sayin'.  :shaka:

Have repeated it here before, and the site owner said, there are other things important to some people than the 2A.

I personally would not piss on an Obola voter if they were on fire, but I am a bit reactionary and hold grudges...............

Did you see Takai's comments on the sweeping by the GOP of the Senate? He states that "now there is no blame game for the republicans to play", loosely quoted. Huh?? Does he not get it at all? This guy is out of touch. Obamass claims a poor voter turnout by Dems for the short fall. HUH??? Does he not get it at all? This guy, too, it out of touch. People are fed up with the direction our government has gone; this election clearly makes that point.

Now only if Hawaii was not a mindless vote the same name, same party and not for the real issues type of state. I was really feeling that it was going to be different here too. Next time maybe.

Dear Republicans: No One Elected You to Work with Democrats

Quote
If voters really wanted people who would work closely with Obama and other Democrats to “get things done,”
they would have just voted for more Democrats. After all, virtually every elected Democrat has “worked with”
Obama (in the sense of doing exactly everything he asked) for the last six solid years. Say what you want
about the information level of the average voter, but absolutely no one was confused into thinking that they
were replacing a Democrat with a Republican in the hopes that the Republican would be more friendly to
the Democrat agenda.

Either he doesn't get it, or like the White House Press Secretary just refuses to admit it in public.  Remember the Iraqi Information Minister?  All evidence to the contrary, never admit that you're losing, and spin it as much as possible in your favor.  When "the end justifies the means" is your mantra, why even pay attention to anything people like that say?

Although I wanted Djou to win and voted to that effect, I didn't expect him to win here (although it was closer than I thought it would be).  I'm planning to ignore the winner (just like the previous winner) and hope the rest of Congress does the same to the rest of the delegates from Hawaii.

A true diplomat can tell his opponent to "Go to Hell!" and make him look forward to the trip!

One thing we have lost in this country is the feeling that, no matter who is in office, we can all support and work together with them.

Now it has become a divided nation where each side has been "radicalized" by their leaders and fellow members to literally HATE the other side.

Nothing even close to working together will happen as long as the political climate is governed by an "us versus them" attitude.

When a President bypasses Congress to put in motion his stated plan to "fundamentally transform America", and that transformation favors
illegal immigrants, people who decide to not contribute to society, and his wealthy campaign contributors, all the while taking every opportunity to
chime in on certain events to give them a racially negative spin ...

It's no wonder the country feels so divided!  And the mainstream media is just making it even worse as they support the agenda of this administration!

When registering to vote I noticed that they asked to which party I belonged. IMO that question should not be permitted and is used to fowl non democrat registrations.
This is probably why this state has been ruled by the democratic party for so long. They are abusing the registration and voting process for their own gains.

From my observations both the Republican and Democratic parties have verged away from their roots and each has adopted a globalist side that they label with what ever subset group that fits into that regime. So we have a globalist center now which is in direct conflict with the US Constitution and the Republic which it formed. Thus far no party has been formed to represent this global interest so they have usurped both the Democrat and Republican parties. Their agents are self evident in both parties.

There is another center found at the origin core of each party and it's represented by the Libertarian party. This party exists forthright because it need not hide in the shadows of the major parties skirts. IMO it's time for true Americans to abandon the infiltrated parties and readopt their roots.
