Good find! Haven't seen 'em that cheap ever. If I didn't already own two of those, I would buy another.

How well do they mount up?  Might like one for my 870 if I knew how to mount it.

Allen wrench bolt used to secure to picatiny rail if I recall correctly. Very secure. The only thing i wish it had is a removable base like the primary arms version which allows the red dot to be mounted lower. This helps with co-witnessing on my AK. I had the bushnell mounted to a mosin and had no problems with holding zero.

I have the TRS-25 and the Primary Arms 106 & 107.

They all have the same base height.  Very low and nearly flush with the rail.  I added a riser to the TRS-25 on my KSG for comfort and co-witness with Magpul Pro MBUS.

The PA107 is on my Mossberg 590 with a UTG add-on rail attached to the receiver.  Sits low -- very easy to sight through.

Here's a picture of the TRS-25 on an 870 with no riser.

The removable base on the other model is good for changing from a picatinny mount to something else, or to use a quick-release mount.

I ordered this scope on the 11th when the link was first posted.  I just got an email from PSA saying they can't ship via air with the battery.  Options are to change to an address they can ship to by ground, remove the battery or cancel.

I have plenty of spare batteries, so I'll be getting the scope soon, I hope.

I ordered one the day after you, and just yesterday (January 21) got the email about no direct shipping, remove battery, etc. options. Expected delivery date: 1/30/15. They must have gotten way way behind with Christmas sales...  :shaka:

Hey Kimo... shouldn't be a problem... just have them remove the battery... you can get that locally for a buck.  :shaka:

Okay, I just got the red dot today via UPS. I just opened it, installed the battery and noticed that at the 5 o'clock position, right next to the eye-side glass there is a bunch of "gunk"... it looks like hardened tar or something black that seems to have oozed into the body. My camera doesn't have a good enough close-up lens to take a decent photo, but it probably covers maybe 5% of the circle. The sight should still work (assuming nothing else is wrong with it), but it is definitely distracting to see something other than a perfect circle when looking through it. Anyone else have a similar issue with these "sale" Bushnell's? It's too late to call PSA on late Friday afternoon here. Any comments?

Thanks! Shows how much I know! I'm surprised that it runs from the 3 o'clock position to the 6 o'clock position and extends beyond what would be a straight line between those points and into the field of view. I guess I will become accustomed to it being there and not be distracted. My only other experience with a red dot sight is one I've had for years with a crossbow... it is a perfect unobstructed circle with nothing inside the tube visible at all.

Crossbows have been around a lot longer than firearms so they've had more time to perfect the sights.  :shake:

I have 2 Bushnell and 2 PSA mini red dots like this.  They all have the LED in the bottom right of the eye lens.  I guess when the sights get so small, they have to put the parts somewhere!
