Shot Show 2015 - FN Booth
« on: January 20, 2015, 08:46:17 AM »
Some pics of their entry in the army compact sniper system.  It looks heavy but it's surprising light.  Even with the extended front end and optic mounted it was well balanced and easy to handle.  The charging handle doesn't reciprocate on this model, if you didn't care for how the original worked.  I'll upload pics later.

That looks like a SCAR with a bad attitude.    8)

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

FN SBR.  Stock is an HK style extending stock.  Nice and short up front makes it very quick to point.  I liked the handguard designed to keep your fingers from being burned on a hot flashider.

Don't think I'd like to try and qualify 200 meters offhand slowfire with that.  Took me a couple years to perfect my sling technique with the M14 to get nice and steady.

Look for FN to offer up a full line of ar's featuring the MLOK.  Looks like quite a few of the large manufacturers will be producing lines in both keymod and mlok.  The reps were really pushing their mlok offerings.

They had a couple on display but nothing new for the ps 90 platform.  Seems most of their attention this cycle was on their licensed AR platforms and the SCAR H.

MLOK is Magpuls version of the keymod system right?
