I watched a crew of guys shoot point blank targets to keep their jobs, while getting agitated at my 11 year old son hitting center mass at full range with a 1911

I once saw someone on the pistol range load their magazine with the bullets in the wrong direction.

Of course.  They go in a lot easier that way. Especially if you use them shorter 9mm Corto bullits in a 9mm Parabellum clip.

I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.

yesterday at the range we decided to put away my friends xds .45 away after just a few mags because the gun was throwing brass around like 15 feet to the right no bullshit. we were hitting people 4-5 stalls away and nobody in between was safe. i could tell people were getting annoyed so we packed that gun up.

Shoot once.
Stop.
Look at Rifle.
Talk to friend for 15 minutes.
Shoot 3x
Stop.
Clean Rifle
Talk to friend for 15 minutes.
Show friend rifle.
Talk about rifle, to friend, for 15 minutes

(Oh, by the way, there is a waiting list)

Sounds like a certain group of guys every single weekend at the range. So caught up in there own little world they never notice how inconsiderate their actions can be.  >:( Especially when there's a waiting list.

I would love to see these type of guys in an "air soft" competition, or a  "tactical training/ competition".
Let's see how good they really are in "real life" scenarios.
Not just shooting paper... and dirt.
(That don't move)
lol!!

By the way, I really respect friends like "dirtylickins".
He does it ALL!!
He is cool!!!!

Last year on the rifle range, while we were all down range, I heard the RO yelling at someone.  I looked back and saw a guy not only in front of the yellow line, I saw him pick up his AR.  I was thinking "Holy s***!"   :wtf: The RO was screaming at him at this point, then he (the guy) realized what he was doing, dropped the rifle and scampered behind the line.  Needless to say, he was 86'ed.

I really hate when people just walk up and start touching my firearms. Only happened maybe twice, but it happened nonetheless. At least have the common courtesy to ask, and I will have no problem letting you handle them. But for some reason, guys have walked up and just started touching for no reason, in which case I had to put in my asshole hat and get pissed.
Some people are just plain stupid doing that & have no common sense, these type of people really piss me off. I would be pissed & going off at these type of people if it happened to me also.

I was killing time on youtube (how does that always happen?) and I searched for Manuka shooting range which is where I go...

I come across this video..

I think i lost count how many times the guy shooting the pistol flagged everyone with it.

In one of this other guy's videos he pans to the table with guns laid out.. Oh, and doesn't forget to show the bud light opened on the table  ::)

Wow, what a dumbass.
Flags everyone with a loaded gun numerous times.
Has a ND
Can't hit shit.

Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Nope.. It is basically just a hunting area that has been improvised into a range. Nobody there to supervise.. etc.. And yes I think I am the only one who picks up their own trash. Although everytime I have gone the other folks who showed up and shot near me were always courteous and safety conscious. But it is uncomfortable to have random people shooting around me. There is more than one place where people shoot, all in the same vicinity and I also worry about rounds from the other areas coming towards me  :o No real barriers setup.
