Stopped by after work tonight. Been wanting to try some IMR 4064 to try and reproduce the original M2 30'06 military loading and also to try a target load with 175gr SMK's. Not only is Prime Sports convenient for me but the price was very good. I appreciate the fact that Henry wants to cater to us reloaders. Thanks Henry!

Was told by the former AMU CDR that 42.0 grains of IMR 4064 with a 175 SMK was an index load. Been shooting well in all my 308 guns.

Yes! Surprised (Pleasantly) to see you too Mac. BTW, I like the fact Henry has chairs in his place. I was on my feet all day and with my recent knee issues I was happy to be able to sit down for a while.

If it shoots well in your 308 it should also do well in my 30'06. I will make sure to include this particular load in my development. Thanks!  :shaka:

BTW, I like the fact Henry has chairs in his place.

I stopped in this past Thursday night after purposely going to eat at new eagle cafe, after my wife looked around she went straight to the chair and parked herself until I was done conversing with Henry. I equate her sitting in the chair at the gun shop to me parking in the chair while she is at clothing/department store.

Funny, that is exactly what my wife did when we went there opening night. Of course I had to bribe her a little bit by taking her out to dinner at Nico's across the street.

Having the chairs there is very inviting and asking customers to stay longer. And be more patient if Henry is tied up with a customer for a long period. That may equate to larger sales.

I had a different set up for chairs there in the beginning but after some compromise to the current set up. ( the original set had leather chairs and a table in the middle) which probably no one would leave. So had to scale back to the current set up. Lol. New tv coming soon tho!

You guys need to get a spot on the Vendor's section of 2aHawaii.com.

BTW: went in and bought couple boxes green tips the other day. Henry and I forgot his name were very awesome to me.
I also fell at the top of the stairs to the 2nd floor parking. Bruised my knee, but no ammo was hurt.

I hung out there yesterday for a little while. Talk story with Henry and Jhanawahine for a while. Bought some Norma Match .22's as they are new and I need to try them through my guns. Checked out the new powder that was there. Gotta Google it.

Yeah, its going to be a good place to hang out...

who's who @ PRIME SPORTS
Henry- he's the big guy that's the owner of the shop. he used to work at a "security" store, and now owns his own shop. do not get him confused with the other big guy who still works at the "security" store.
is super knowledgeable and easy going, very helpful to people with issues with their firearms.
Jay- despite his name, he's more like "silent bob" until you get to know him. he's dressed like a mechanic sometimes.  once you get to know him and he starts talking, really friendly guy that knows lots about firearms.
Mark- often seen in his "uniform" of an aloha shirt and long pants. he even goes shooting in his uniform. knows lots about powders and reloading.
Steve- the noisy felix unger guy who is frequently sweeping and mopping and basically complaining about the world in general. may have tourette's syndrome. knows nothing about firearms, frequently just makes shit up.
Sterling- the noisy short guy who is frequently heard cackling at things he says. very knowledgeable, says "basically" a lot when he is explaining things
the guys in the chairs- a frequently rotating cast of characters, usually made up of the guys you always see at the range or on 2ahawaii.com
come in and hang out, it's a fun place to be - kind of like the "Cheers" of the HNL shooting community
and before anyone says it, if prime is cheers, then i am cliff clavin
