Just for clarification, when I was at Sports Authority just a few days ago, the regular Ruger with wood stock was $209. The stainless steel with synthetic stock was $249.

The 10/22 in the ad is a misprint.  The one on sale is the wood 10/22.  Not the stainless.

It looks like prices on 10/22s have increased since I picked mine up. I think the stainless was on sale for $209 and the wood at $189 at that time. Oh well, it's still a good buy. Too bad we can't get the cheap Marlin model 60s at Sports Authority. I guess there is always the Marlin 795.

If I hadn't just picked up the wooden stock Ruger for $239 a short time ago, I would totally spring $249 for the stainless steel barrel.
