Just got confirmation email  last week that they received the unit that was sent last mid December. The unit was actually delivered to them last December but they just acknowledged receiving it last week. Follow up email to them said the refund still in process. Hope soon.

I sent mine back a month ago and I haven't heard anything from them yet.

Latest I heard were people who returned units I early to mid Dec are receiving checks. A cop friend in Texas received a refund for one of his EoTechs turned in. He returned that one early Dec. He returned a second one in late Dec and is still waiting on that one. He mentioned the check looks like one of those cheesy/fake ones that are loans, sweepstakes, etc.

My cop buddy in Houston has received refund checks for both the units he returned.  I can also confirm receipt of a refund check for a 512 that was sent in on 23 Dec 2015.  It probably arrived at EoTech around 28 Dec, so it appears that refunds are arriving for those units that were received end of 2015.

No receipt was required. 
Full refund on the price listed on the return request filled out online + $15 shipping.  (I was told that as long as it was somewhat in line with what said unit was going for retail, that refunds were going out as reported)

In a couple of cases, I was told that the person's bank put a hold on the refund check.  Not sure if that had to do with an issue on the issuing bank side or receiving bank side, but this was reported in Texas and Arizona. 

This tremendous fraud suit and settlement has left their civilian consumers a bit uneasy. I can only imagine the number of people contacting EOTech about whether their optics were faulty or not. I use an EOTech 512 on my AR-15 in addition to some optics from http://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-optics, and all this was pretty troubling to me as well.
