From when I shared the link, we have already gained 3000 signatures (over 9000 signatures). I just sent a message to the NRA asking them to share the petition on Facebook. If you guys can share the link, I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, almost forgot to mention that the deadline is January 16th, thanks again.
Just in, the NRA just responded, here is what they said:
"Unfortunately these White House petitions are meaningless. The Obama administration actually supports the legislation and much, much more. The most important thing people can do is contact their members of Congress and express their opposition to the bill as Congress is the body that will have to vote on it should it ever come up for consideration."
