Sorry I was late. Aiea78 was making awesome holster signs.

Good turnout and visiting sen. And rep. Offices went well.

Aiea78 even got a great shot with Gov. Ige and got him to hold and fold up our flyer.  :D

Sen. Slom and Rep. Kong Rock !

Had one lady ask me what  my shirt said N...R... ?  When I explained it her whole tone changed and said oh you one of those people.  Should've told her what, it's because they black ah?  LOL  :p

We definitely got noticed today.  Was great to participate.  Everybody has a voice, protected by the constitution.  Maybe the Bern supporter who chided me that he supported all the amendments will think about his choice of candidate more.

We were standing one dozen strong at our peak.  WIth stragglers and drop-ins, maybe 15 of us total by the time I left?  I got interviewed twice; Ed, once.  I'll post link information as it becomes available.

Remember. For all those who could not attend, You can still protest and get word of mouth going by strapping on an empty holster. This cannot be a one time thing, it needs be kept going. You get people talking and the politicians will start listening. All must protest when and wherever they can.

Those that attended, stayed as long as they could and went to work. But! they made the time and effort. WE all need to be more active. Lets here some thoughts to correct this glaring denial of our rights. Any ideas where we can all gather and protest in numbers at a time more advantageous to members. In the view of the general public.

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other. See which gets filled first.-Mick

Thanks to the fellas for making signs and holster cut outs, and especially the refreshments. I dropped the ball on that one.

Most thankful for those who showed up.

Yeah, that old lady was like the cherry on top, the finishing touch right before the last of us left.

Though I have to say, I didn't feel she threatened us. She said, "All you people should be KILLED", which I took more as an opinion.

She was the only real negative person we encountered. Even the Bernie supporters were polite to us!

Great job Dustoff003, Heavies, Jl808, Dumbgun, EEF {!!!}, Aiea78, A-hound, oldfart, bass monkey, Tom_G, Jason and Tommy from the 808 guns and acc. forum!

I don't think I missed anyone, but if I did, speak up and be recognized! You are all good men, and true.

Thanks to Q for printing up the flyers for us, Aiea78 managed to get one into Gov. Ige's hands AFTER he got his picture taken with him!

Lots of positive responses from motorists and passersby. Tom and I got interviewed by Olelo and Tom was interviewed for a radio show by the representative from the Grassroots Institute.

Thanks as well to Sen. Slom for his hospitality and his unfailing support. Send him some money to support his campaign if you can and give him your vote please!

I think we did a good job of getting our message out in a positive way, especially considering our small numbers.

Thanks again guys, I'm already looking forward to next year!

Sorry I couldn't make it out guys; family situation that demanded my attention at the last minute.

Really proud of the turn out. Hopefully we can have a bigger turn out when we plan the next one.
