I know...but I couldn't get there too early or I would be wiped out at work.
That would be a bad thing.

Hey, is there a way to download these inline images?

Right click save image as?

[Edit] Are you referring to the ones posted by Aiea78?  Doesn't seem to be a way to easily save those on the browser but it was easy enough to do on Tapatalk.  If you PM me your email, I'll email them to you.

That nice lady from El Salvador, that stopped by and supported the cause, was an inspiration to me.  Kind of gave me new resolve.  Funny and sad when folks that came from other countries need to remind us that gun control is a bad thing.

She said it as she passed us. Almost under her breath. And kept walking. A uniformed cop checked us out, said they had a complaint of 200 people getting rowdy. There was only three of us on the lawn then, the rest went into the building. The cop was cool and just doing his job and then moved along. We are guessing it was the GMO protesters. Shit load of them there. Handful of us gun nuts. Protesting at an event is good but everyone can protest on there own on there own schedule. Get out there. Help us, help the cause, help yourselves.

No politician is going to pay attention to 12 guys at a rally once a year, Needs to be ALL gun owners everywhere all the time. Not just at the range, or here on the forum.

So start planning the next one months in advance; problem solved.

We need to get a table on the "inside" like the Bernie supporters. We'll have to find out what, if anything, is required to do that.

Advance planning will certainly be key!

I plan to start looking at dates for the coming year that would be good for another rally. We need to build on the momentum and build our numbers.

Speaking of upcoming dates, isn't February CCW month? I'm sure HPD and Chief Kealoha miss us!

I also liked your idea of bringing back a mass CCW registration, planned MONTHS in advance so no one has any excuses.

Would be nice to get the local organizations involved, but their lack of support for recent events has proved disheartening, and it seems that we might have to rough it out alone.

I'm also still entertaining the idea of having a structured debate/open forum. It fell apart last year because I couldn't secure the venue I wanted (they wanted a $1 million insurance deposit  :o  :shake:  ), but I am seeing what we could possibly do this year.

Best thing about this last one is it just took one guy to say let's do it (Tom G) and one other to say lets go (Edster) and a bunch to say I'm in and it happened successfully.
Can you imagine if it was actually organized.

How about we plan the next one for legislature opening day again?  We should make this an annual thing every legislative opening day.

1. Picket the street to spread public awareness and gain support
2. Go visit our legislators and ask them to support gun rights bills.

The signs that we carried made it easy for us to find each other in that big place. I also used the sign as good conversation starters with people at the Capitol.

I loved it when the three of us went to talk to Will Espero and asked him what he is doing about gun bills this year. I think we could plan this better next year and ask him specifics of what bills he could support and what bills we don't like.

With better planning, we make sure to talk to the legislators in the key committees that will be handling firearms related bills.

With better organization and additional time in planning, maybe we can one day grow this to something big like that hawaiian group that took the whole 1st floor of the Capitol.

Dumbgun also had a good point that we are not yet done for this year and the initial opening was just a start. He's right that we need to show support for our gun rights everyday and not just one day in the year.

Also, we still have the whole 2016 legislative session ahead of us.

Get to know your senators and representatives and engage them in conversation this year.

Let's plan out to have a show of support when the bills gets introduced and heard.

I spoke with him about clarifying the state law as to the enforcement of firearms policy with regards to medical marijuana participants; seemed to be the only one that cared at all.

What did he say when you spoke with  him?
