I spoke with him about clarifying the state law as to the enforcement of firearms policy with regards to medical marijuana participants; seemed to be the only one that cared at all.

What did he say when you spoke with  him?

Nothing beneficial for gun owners.

He said the only thing he has planned related to firearms is introducing a bill to preventing purchase of firearms for those on the no fly list.

I asked him what about those who are mistakenly placed on the list. He said they will have to have provisions for removing someone from the list.
I think, therefore I am armed.

We need to get a table on the "inside" like the Bernie supporters. We'll have to find out what, if anything, is required to do that.

Advance planning will certainly be key!

I plan to start looking at dates for the coming year that would be good for another rally. We need to build on the momentum and build our numbers.

Speaking of upcoming dates, isn't February CCW month? I'm sure HPD and Chief Kealoha miss us!

Sure, we could get a table inside, and maybe even a real banner.

Q mentioned a protest at the capitol first 'hound :D and printed flyers

Nice suggestion on a table inside all official like the other groups.  I hope outside support shows up too but not going to count on it though would be a welcome surprise.

Disappointing.

We should send him the video of Trey Gowdy destroying the DHS representative with regards to the no-fly list.

Q mentioned a protest at the capitol first 'hound :D and printed flyers.

Those were great flyers Q.

Thanks for the support even though you couldn't make it down.    :shaka:

I stand corrected 78.
 And the troops rallied.
Tip my hat to all who participated in anyway.

We need to keep an eye on the upcoming legislation.
And we need an organizer.

I nominate Jl808 and Heavies.
Both are Mods and seem like pretty organized guys.

Or any volunteers from the cast of characters that told us we were doing it wrong ?
Help us get it right ?

Seems like Espero and Karl Rhodes may be pivotal.
I know Rhodes has a tendency to not let pro-2A bills leave his Commitee.

Rhodes is a lost cause. Espero has supported "us" in the past but is a bit schizophrenic with his support.

I just got my press pass, so I can now start interviewing, photographing and filming people and politicians in situations and locations that most normal people don't have access to or don't have the authority to do so.

I think the guys that initiated this rally would be good to organize the next event.

I can facilitate but I'm not really skilled in "community organizing".

This next few months I will be focused on tracking bills and identifying key legislators.

Maybe we can organize around those things on when 2a bills are being heard.
I think, therefore I am armed.

Be good if more could show up at bill hearings.   That would be very difficult because they are heard when us peons usually have to work..  lol

Butts in seats during any hearing is beneficial....submitted testimony is second best.....

The podcast from  the Grassroot Institute is up.  My lengthy segment is at 24:30, although I am also a soundbyte in the previous story.
