During the last flurry of testimony on anti 2A legislation,

Many 100s of people testified.

To testify, you had to give your name.

Another old time HRA member went thru the entire list to see who he knew were HRA and other gun organization members.

He saw my name & testimony.  I got an e mail comment from him.

If people like him looked at the names,

you can bet the legislators do too.

Probably check to see how many Pro 2A people are in their district.

If 2a supporter's are a big # in his district, may give him second thoughts.

If you know gun owners who Do NOT Vote, this may be a good time to get them to register to VOTE.

2016 is an ELECTION Year.

If Every gun owner Voter Against Gun Control, Hawaii can see big changes.

Maybe there should be a Voter Registration table at the Range, Gun Shows and Shooting Fairs?

Remember, Hawaii has a very Low voter turn out.

Gun Owners CAN make a difference IF enough of them Voted.

If you Can't show me a voter registration card, STFU.

You have NOTHING meaningful to Contribute.

You're Moocher.

Wouldn't the same sentiment also apply to people who don't show up on 20 January?

If you know gun owners who are not active politically, this may be a good time to get them to show up on 20 January.

2016 is an ELECTION Year.

If Every gun owner showed up at the state capitol, Hawaii can see big changes.

Maybe there should be encouraged attendance by HRA and the NRA?

Remember, Hawaii has a very Low political activism turnout for firearms.

Gun Owners CAN make a difference IF enough of them showed up.

If you Can't show me your dedication to the cause, STFU.

You have NOTHING meaningful to Contribute.

You're Moocher.

The irony in this thread.

Showing up on a day where every other cause and their mom will be at the Capitol makes very little impact in relation to, oh, say, showing up and testifying at a scheduled, televised public hearing.

But what do I know, right? I'll reserve my input and take my 15 years of lobbying and gov experience elsewhere where it's more appreciated and put to better use.

Unless 2,000 pro-2a people show up on the 20th, it would be more effective to do such a display on a day where none of the other thousand special interest groups show up.

The news spends some of the time allotted to Legislature Opening Day to prayers, hula dancers and other fluff. The rest of the time is spent outlining the issues the opening day speakers touched on during their speeches.

At no time did they air any rally or protest outside the building.

Just something to consider.

We just don't want to be late to the party.  :D

Like I said previously, this doesn't mean this is the only action we take this year.
Just the start to announce our presence.
Heck, we didn't even organize anything. We Just put out the call.

And don't take your expertise elsewhere. I mean you can share it elsewhere but continue to share it with us too.

 :stopjack:

Yup, I vote every election.

My parents took us every time to the polls with them to develop the habit and I have done the same with my kids.
