I think this is AWESOME, and I want one!!  There is no other way you would be able to own a real one here in Hawaii, and in more common cartridges, one could actually shoot it!

If you are into nostalgia, this might be the ticket.

Me...I'm not into the collector aspect, so much as I am into the functionality aspect.

That's why people often wonder why I don't have collector mosins; because I shoot my mosins and intend to use them constantly, something that shouldn't be done with an antique mosin.

This.   I am into the nostalgia aspect and the historical significance of certain weaponry, yet I want all my firearms to be functional and usable.  I own no safe queens here...   ;D some get used more than others, but they all get used.  If anything I own earns my distrust in any way I usually look to replace it with something more practical or functional.

Lately I've been into acquiring more practical items, but I think I'm well enough covered for that side now.  Time to start collecting the 'wants' vice the 'needs'.
Just need to move things around to get funding for the 'wants' ;D

I'm the same way with guns.  All of the guns I have bought to date are all shooters, or intended to be shot.  I came close to buying a pre-94 Chinese AK, but the seller was trying to convince me that it should be a collectors item rather than shot.  I just wanted a reliable stamped receiver AK and that came up during that time.

I now have more than I 'need' and the 'wants' are starting to come to the forefront.  Tavor, lever action and others come to mind.  If I was into reloading, I'd try more Czech guns.  For some reason, those have appealed to me lately.  Probably not the most practical, but interesting, at least to me.  Haha
