When I've had people try my ARs, most first time shooters will ask about if the recoil will hurt them.  I have to blame movies and TV for portraying so much misinformation and exaggeration of firearms in general.  From like how a shotgun can either blow a man off their feet to blow the shooter back across the room.  To how easy it is to shoot a Desert Eagle 50 cal with one in each hand.  Ok, there may be some here that can do that. . . [sarcasm, kinda  ]
