M1A SOCOM 16 SIGHTING IN IRONS
« on: July 12, 2016, 05:40:43 PM »
Hello,

I am brand new to sighting in irons on the M1A. Is there anyone that would be interested in assisting me at Kokohead range (100 yard) sight in? I have the ammo, I don't have a spotting scope. I am anxious to learn and really want to make this a fun experience vice burn through a ton of .762.

If you have a spotting scope and LEGIT experience and know you can do it, please PM me.

Thank you!  :shaka:

Suggest sighting in your rifle at 50 yds vice at a 100.  Have your rear sight in the center position and come up about 8-12 clicks on elevation.  Your front sight should also be centered.  I use this method when sighting in M1/M1A rifles - most of the time the first shot will be on the paper at 50 yds.
