The one in Kapolei is a Halloween store.

Dick's Sporting Goods are pricey. Been to a few on the mainland and needless to say, even though they are located on the mainland in locations with no sales tax to 6% sales taxes, their retail prices are expensive. Just browsed the clothing, equipment, shoes and accessories. There may be a few deals here and there but for the most part they're not that cheap or comparable.

Cheaper than rail and more
profitable.

Didn't hear of Dick's taking over but I received a e-mail from Dick's for some sales discount offer.  I've never contacted them for anything and thought was strange they would LMK about sales here in HI.  Maybe they got names of SA's reward program members or a Dick's take over of certain stores is in the works.  Would like a sports with shooting stull big box store back in HI.

I got a letter from Sport's Authority a couple of months ago stating they sold their membership list and that the privacy act agreement would be the same with the new vendor. I guess maybe it was Dick's that bought the list.

SA sent an email stating that they had sold their League rewards program customer info to Dick's.

Mystery solved, thanks for the 411.  Was really hoping Dick's would reopen some SA stores  in HI.
