I don't have any info on the pistol. Just saw the pic and thought it was a beautiful handgun.

Thanks for sharing that link. You mentioned in your post that, "[t]his revolver has one of the worst triggers I have ever shot."  Is this a DAO? Thought about getting one of these pistols. If I did, I'd reload for it too but after reading your post, I'm not sure I'd like to go through all the trouble just to reload for it.

The trigger is single/double. It is just that bad. Gritty and heavy. It loads/unloads like a single action. However, the darn thing is pretty accurate even though mine shoots about 12" high. Even with the trigger, I can print some pretty decent groups with it at 25 yards. I paste an orange target dot ~12" below my target and aim at the dot in order to print on my target.

I know WGS had/has some ammo for it. I bought a few boxes before I got all the components to load for it. They said something about ordering it by accident. I got the impression they had a lot of it. Of course that was a few years ago.

Yeah, the process for reloading for this cartridge is slow and laborious. The Lee dies are really for reloading for the 32-20 cartridge as they assume you are going to seat the bullet above the case mouth. That is why I modified the seater die with the 30 carbine seater in order to get the bullet all the way past the case mouth and far enough down into the case to have a bit of a crimp. I wanted the gas seal. Which BTW you can use 32-20 brass and seat the bullet above the case mouth like a normal cartridge and shoot it that way. It just won't have the complete gas seal.

BTW, there is no load data for this cartridge so if you ever decide to load for it I will be happy to share my results with you. I think Trail Boss is the way to go with this cartridge. But I did load some Titegroup cartridges and they were quite snappy in the gun.

I can hear so many crying foul for putting a red dot on a M1A, but I like it!  I've always wanted an M1A.  While I am not sure I'd set it up like that one if I were to buy, but I'd sure enjoy shooting that one!

This one is for Stang:

I have a few Talo edition Rugers already.
all Vaquero's with birdshead grips, 3.75" barrels, .357, .44mag, and .45acp.  the .45acp is maybe my favorite to shoot out of the 3.  recoil is so easy, feels like I'm shooting .38sp out of that gun.  I can shoot it better than my 1911's.  maybe its just bc I like revolvers better.
all great guns.  and the price was about the same as a regular Ruger
