I find it sad and ironic at the same time that soooo many Presidents or politicians for that matter make so many campaign promises just to get elected but are fully aware that they cannot or don't have the intention of actually fulfilling them. EVERYONE and I mean everyone knew exactly what President Trumps campaign promises were, or could have easily pulled them up with a simple Google search. His lists for SCOTUS, potential cabinet members he was looking at, policies, etc, was all out there. His transparency prior to actually being elected was virtually unmatched from what I can recall of any other politician or Presidential candidate. No wishy washy political maybes, but he was very clear as in "I will do _____". Now that he actually got elected, people seem shocked that he is actually doing EXACTLY what he campaigned on. This is like some kind of shock to the system, "you mean he is actually doing what he campaigned that he would do"? Oh the irony.
I find it even more ironic that President Trump is doing many things that the Democrat party had promised or supported but the more that those things look like a reality the Dems are now furious. Probably because they were full of crap and President Trump is going to make them look bad. This is causing such a visceral reaction and in typical far left fashion they are doing a deflection and misdirection of their failures in an attempt to shift negative focus on President Trump. The childlike behavior that they are exhibiting is sad. The Dems are only digging their already deep hole even deeper. IMO they are taking the very wrong, but not unexpected reaction to the devastation of their political party. The only way they succeed is if good people stand by and do nothing. It is up to all those who supported this change of watch to be vigilant and unwavering in their support for what America voted for. The work isn't finished, it has only begun. There is no time to sit back and think our work is done, so keep in the fight.
As for politics and business, pay to play has been around as long as you have had money, business and politicians. Hell it goes back to the stone age. While many accept the corruption aspect, many really have no idea how deep it truly runs in modern politics at ALL levels, from local all the way to the Federal gov.
