I don't know why people like to speed up just to make it more difficult for another person to change lane. It's childish.
Now i can understand when people are waiting patiently to get on the freeway and a jackass bypasses everyone and cuts in front. That's the reason why certain on ramps are backed up.

Signaling one way and going the opposite direction is a tactic I learned in Oklahoma.  If you try to change lanes, some Okie redneck will try to cut you off on purpose.  Signal misdirection makes the rednecks go one way while you go the other.

Adapt.  Improvise.  Overcome.   :shaka:

Well in this case the right lane is the shoulder lane and concrete barrier.

The onramp from Kunia sucks. People are on the left lane trying to get on from the intersection at WalMart then theres always the people who cut all the way in the front despite a solid line

Mine is a cheap Chinese no-name junk. I think it was less than 20 bucks but the memory card costs 20 bucks too.
I think I'll try get one from costco when this one dies.
Maybe costco will take it back if it dies.

This morning I got 3 wacky drivers on dashcam, within a span of 45 minutes.
Is it any wonder why Honolulu is on track to win the gold medal for traffic fatalities this year?

Thanks for reminding me why I never want to drive in Honolulu again, or even visit there.

SOP in SoCal, and why most drivers do not signal when changing lanes.  The MB drivers will just start moving over, without a space to get into, expecting the peasants to make room for them.

Hawaii is good for my anger management that way.  Never seen that SoCal behavior here.

Just a couple days ago I noticed an increase in stupid driving. I told my coworker to get his dashcam up and running because the holiday season just makes it worse.

Hey OF, what size SD card do you have and how much recording time does it give before it starts looping?

I have to drive sometimes all day and if I need to go back earlier in the day to review something I don’t want to find it looped around and it erased the timeline I want to review.

Thanks!

On my particular dashcam I run a 32gb card. Supposedly, it is the maximum size it can take. Other people claim it can take a 64gb.
Anyway, with the resolution set at 720p, it will hold approximately 6 hours.
I tried the 1080 setting but I think my card is not fast enough.

I have a 32g card on my Garmin GPS dash cam combo set at 1080.  All I am really concerned with is the last 15 minutes.

I see sport bikers doing that crap all the time.
I had one this morning.

Along those lines, I see cars driving past me so fast in crowded road conditions.
They have to slam on the brakes to prevent a high speed rear end collision with cars driving at normal speeds.
What was the point in doing that?

I was driving to work when a baby at the park decides to run away from the parents and heads towards the street.
I hit the horn to alert the parents and blocked the road so no cars could pass by in case the baby ran out on the street.
