With a Blackhawk Knoxx Stock & Electro Lumens 700 lumens flashlight.  Haven't figured out a way to attach the pressure switch to the fore end.  Tried everything from rubber cement, elmer's glue, super glue, gorilla glue, epoxy, etc.  Any suggestions?

Wow!!  Is that a NP3 finish on her?  Sexy!!!!  :geekdanc:

It's what Remington calls their "Hammered" finish.

The Mesa stock adapter is dura coat finish.

I have a suggestion.

With a Dremel tool, you can grind a flat panel into the plastic so it can sit flat on there. Then you can attach it with double stick tape.

i finally bought an 870 tactical express yesterday. i want to put a pistol grip stock on but i am debating between the knoxx stock or just a regular collapsable stock. how do you guys like the knoxx? i've seen youtube vids where people were crying about cheek slap and vids where people say its no big deal..
what do you guys think?

I've done a fair amount of shooting with the knoxx stock and it delivers what it promises, the felt recoil is definately reduced over a standard fixed stock. As far as the cheek slap issue I've seen those videos on YouTube too but IMO it really isn't an issue. A couple of shots and you'll figure out where not to put your face. And I've put everything from birdshot to slugs to 3" 00 magnums through the gun. Hope this helps  :shaka:

I too have shot many shots with a Knoxx recoil reducing stock.

I haven't had any problems with cheek slap. As long as you put your cheek in the right place, you'll be just fine.

I really like the Knoxx stock. The recoil reducing is incredible.

I love my 870. The barell is modded from AIP tactical. I shaved the AFG to fit on the Ergo rail forend. If you haven't tried the AFG on a shot gun you must try it. I like it way better on my 870.

Go with the Knoxx. I have the older version on my Mossberg 500 and don't regret it at all. The Knoxx is pricey'er than a standard stock, but not as much as an Endine buffer tube design stock.

I also have the power pack on the Knoxx and have no issues with cheek slap. The wife has shot 12g slugs with no complaints and she weighs 120 lbs...

Order a Knoxx through HDF/ Amazon and call it a day. If you don't like it, someone here will probably take it off your hands.

Oh yeah, I'll be at the next HDF shoot and you can shoot my 500 to give you an idea, let me know.

Edit- damn, just noticed this post is 4 months old

Has anyone tried the Magpul SGA Stock on their Remington 870?  How does it compare to the Knoxx stock?
I think, therefore I am armed.

I bought the set recently and Im liking it so far, it gives you a pistol grip angle sort of, with a traditional style stock, the Knoxx did eat up a little more recoil than the SGA stock does(which is to be expected) but overall the magpul furniture set is much more comfortable and not as awkward to hold. Very ergonomic. And IMO much better looking. the forend is great too it sits really high on the barrel and accepts the moe rail sections, I threw a surefire x300 on mine and it sits in the perfect position.
