We should have Omni create some cool AI applications for autonomous drones so they can search for law breakers in Hawaii!   :thumbsup:

It would be cool if someone would do an aerial view of Koko Head Shooting Complex so I can put it up on the website. This should be done on one of the days that it is not open of course (for the safety of the drone  :rofl: ).

Unfortunately I'm not the greatest programmer.  If I could write AI programs I would be a billionaire right now. 

Maybe since you "worked on AI's" before you can write one?  Then with the billions of dollars you have you can fund 2a in hawaii.

AI is for the very industrious, detail-oriented, OCD-riddled programmers who can stand the years of mapping out all the if-then-else cases of every possible decision and result given every possible input parameter.

I worked on that once.  It was enough.  Not only do you have to decide on the choices and next steps, but each factor of each choice gets a weighted value, and sometimes those weights change based on combinations of factors.

The complexity of AI is well beyond any knowledge you've demonstrated.  Programming it would be the least of your shortfalls.

That's pretty funny.

I was flipping through the channels yesterday and on ESPN, they had drone racing.  I don't fly drone, but this was pretty cool.  They are flying pretty damn fast and when they crash into the gates and stuff, it seems like they hit pretty hard.  I was kind of wondering how they don't ruin their drones.

most times a drone OPERATOR will break props. ( I don't agree with calling them PILOTS  :grrr:) yeah. I can't envision a drone operator standing next to a person flying an F14 ala Tom Cruise & Val Kilmer coolness
When I flew model helis that parts breakage list was longer and more expensive. Bent shafts etc. QuadROTORs are easier with less mechanical parts to break and easier to fly.
I don't consider it a sport either. A hobby yes. I've been flying RC models since 1992 and flew Raven SUASs overseas.

What makes you think I would waste billions on 2A in Hawaii? 

If I have that much money, I'll hire former Cops as body guards!   Hawaii would only be my "Winter Home". 

Probably look at property in Wyoming and Nevada for Summertime.  :geekdanc:
