1. I bought a Mitchell made High Standard Victor many years ago that  wouldn't function due to casting problems. I finally sold it for parts.
2. I was begged to to buy a Stoeger Luger .22 which I really didn't want. I did a family member a favor and gave them $100 for it. It also would not function reliably. Looked cool as hell tho. And yes at one point in time I wanted to buy another one thinking I could make a project out of it. I have thought better it since then.
3. Beretta 950 in 25ACP. This thing hurt like hell when I shot it. The ergonomics are terrible and parts bite your hand when fired. It was finished immaculately, finely blued with gold leafing and gold plated parts. Beautiful gun, terrible shooter.

I have owned a few guns that were given to me which I couldn't get rid of fast enough.

None.  Only regrets I have is having sold them, like a pre 64 M70 .270 Winchester and a pre 64 Winchester 30-30.  A 1966 Remington 700BDL in 7mm Mag which my father bought for me and I sold to my brother 30 years ago who refuses to sell it back.  S&W M29 in 44 Mag, S&W Highway Patrolman in .357 Mag and a few others.  I especially regret selling the rifles since they were all bought before 1968.

None really.  There are guns that given the opportunity to go back, I probably wouldn't have bought.  Those are:

1) HK USP Compact 40 - This was the first gun that I bought.  I was sold on the whole "40 is the best of both worlds" and I wanted a compact handgun for CCW.  I eventually would get my CCW license at the time (was living away from Hawaii).  I shot it pretty often and it's a really reliable gun without much problems.  Something broke in the trigger mechanism, but I sent it back to HK and they fixed it quickly.  However, I almost never shoot it these days due to the cost of ammo and just not a gun that I particularly enjoy shooting.  It mostly gets shot only when I teach so that I can offer something 40 cal.

2) FEG AK - I bought it as part of an estate liquidation sale from a friend.  It was a good price and came with a bunch of ammo.  It's an older gun, but seems like the owner never shot it and is in pristine condition.  I bought it since I wanted an inexpensive stamped AK and make a project gun out of it and shoot the hell out of it.  However, after looking into the gun more, it seems like while it's a quality gun, it has collector value with potential for more.  While I appreciate nice guns, I want to shoot them.  So right now I am torn between just keeping it as a collector's item, selling it, or going ahead and modding it.

3) RIA 1911 9 mm - It's a really nice gun at an awesome price.  I just don't shoot it much.  At least right now as there are other 9s that get shot before that one for various reasons.  I'll eventually get back to shooting it, but it's really is something that I could do without.

Marlin camp9 carbine-
has internal plastic recoil buffer that disintegrates,
chamber is so loose the fired brass looks pregnant
feed ramp is horrible, must use only real FMJ or it will jam. no lead, HP, or even plated round nose.

It does have some redeeming features but I would not buy it again.
I would not sell it either because it is rather fun to shoot. I did install a Choate folding stock and a low power shotgun scope.
Uses SW 59 series mags, like the ones that HPD destroyed by the thousands :(
Accuracy is fair.
Marlin discontinued it years ago.

I impulsively bought a 1911-22 but doesn't function well. I use it at the range in between rifles. I put a red dot scope on it.

The closest I've come to purchasing a potential lemon was when I wanted my first .22.  I walked into Young Guns and saw the Sig Mosquito, the Salesman told me "I'll sell it to you but I wouldn't recommend it" .  He recommended the Ruger MkIII and I was like WTF is that?  That pistol has been nothing but reliable, have 2 now.  Always wonder if I would have got one of the reliable Sig Mosquitos, do they exist?

My Sig 1911-22 shoots okay now, but it required some new parts to get rid of the loose fit and adjustment screw.

It requires high velocity ammo to cycle, so that makes it more finicky than my other 22LR pistols.

I love my Ruger Single-10 pistol.  Wish I'd bought it first, but the 1911-2 was on sale at the gun show.

Not sure I'll sell it.  It's still a good gun for getting the 1911 feel for muscle memory, but my Ruger 22/45 give me that as well.

I don't regret any of my firearms purchased so far only the fact some were purchased sight unseen from the internet.

I regretted buying my first rifle, a Remington 700 in 270win.  Rifle shoots great, but I wanted a rifle for practice and I don't hunt.  Wish I got a 556 instead.  I was inexperienced at the time.

Another one was a Khar PM40 for CCW.  It's a good shooting gun but I wish I got it in 9mm instead due to the recoil.

What I regret not buying is a 2nd M1 Carbine and a 1903 when the CMP had plenty of them.

Mini-14.  Was a great feeling little rifle, loved taking it apart.

Most wretched accuracy imaginable.  My Ruger .44 Mag Super Redhawhk would outshoot it, even dealing with the recoil.

Mossberg 500.  Did not really regret it, but was always disappointed in it's clunky operation after years of a Remington 870.

Ruger Super Redhawk .44Mag 9" barrel with Leupold 2x scope.  Seemed like a great idea at the time, and it was very accurate at long range, but geezus, what a load to carry.  No way you shot that beast without resting it.  My Super Blackhawk was just as accurate and much easier to pack and shoot offhand.

No longer have any of them.

Remington 740. I worked all summer as a kid to save up enough for a deer rifle and bought it. It could maybe put 5 rounds in a paper plate at 100 yards on a good day, and had a lot of malfunctions. Sold it and never looked back.

Rossi break open 223. Inaccurate piece of crap that never shot straight with any load, and I hated it's extra external safety vs. an H&R. I sold it too.

Diamondback DB380. Needed a new carry gun back home and thought it'd be a good choice, but 380 sucks and mags are a mail order only affair. Plus it's picky about when it wants to run right. I still own it but wish I'd have bought something else instead.

I believe Funtimes has (or had) a Sig Mosquito.  I recall him bringing it to an HDF shoot way back and he had nothing but bad things to say about it.  He was like "here, try it".  After he had just given me the rundown on bad things about it, I was like "no thanks".   ;D
