RCBS makes a shell remover kit for around $20. Or you can check out this link:

The last time I stuck a case I went online and a new die was on sale so I just bought a new one.

Been there, done that a few times. Lee FL die? Remove the jam nut and pin and use a punch/ rod to tap it out. Use quality lube will minimize that. I use RCBS or Imperial

Yes, pin is jammed in there too. May sacrifice the pin and tap it out then try and tap out or press out shell.

How many days does "Day 1 Reloading" take?  It's been 3 already.   :D

Had a similar experience reloading one of those 22/250's  :grrr:
Used the drill and tap 1/4 x 20 and worked out well.

I just started reloading too and the decapping pin on my die got bent on my 10th brass. Used a Lee lube that came with my kit and 500 case later and no stuck case.

It happens.

If possible, I keep spares.

I've been applying lube from a spray bottle with a mixture of lube and alcohol. Can't say that I'm overly impressed with this method. I have experienced a number of incidents involving stuck cases using this method and the only time i can really resize the cases without fear of getting them stuck is when the cases are wet.  I'm still learning how to be sensitive enough to know when a case is going to get stuck and to stop while I'm ahead.

+1 on keeping spare pins - especially if sizing crimped military brass.

In my case, I get 9mm range pickup brass and sometimes there is a little rock stuck inside.

i don't have a spare but i have a manual decapping base and pin. I cut the bent pin and just used it for resizing.
