Kimber 1911A1 compensator

Got one of the first run Kimber Stainless Target models circa 1997. This gun is scary accurate. When bench rested it will put 7 rounds in the 25 yard target into darn near a ragged hole with 230 ball and is dependable all day long. Been toying with idea of putting a  compensator on it but need some advice. My choices are magna-porting it, Clark custom drop in (which scares me somewhat due to tolerances since it is a drop in) target barrel with bushing and threaded comp or Wilson combat barrel bushing. The barrel bushing would be my last choice since the diameter of the bushing is much larger than the barrel there fore, in my mind, renders its compensating abilities much less effective than the Clark option. Anyway any advice you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated,  :shaka:

Yeah, that's been weighing heavy on my mind.... if it ain't broke, don't f with it...... but the recoil is aggravating some old Harley hog injuries and after a shooting session, the wrist smarts quite a bit. I'm shooting some real light loads but t still 230 round nose. Getting old really sucks :geekdanc:

A few days ago I took my Delta out of the safe to take a photo in that koa box.
My grip strength is not as strong as it used to be.
I could not lock the slide back because of the oil on the metal and the dual spring recoil system.
So I stripped it to clean it out and pulled the small inside spring. No more full strength loads in that gun.
What, Me Worry?
