When you say unrestricted do you mean even those with felonies and violent crime convictions?
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Don't know if Paddock was wearing glasses or not, but he might have had to pause to clear his vision after the first/each mag.  It really messes up your eyes!
Sounds like he also needed a respirator from all the smoke that set off the fire alarms...

If you've never fired a full auto weapon, your "education" is purely academic.

I have fired a full auto weapon, but academic knowledge is sufficient for this topic.

I've fired several types of full autos, but not on a M16.  Just the burst fire mag dumps we did during basic training.  I don't remember any blowback going into my eyes, but maybe I overlooked it from the adrenaline of charging a hill with machine guns blazing overhead.

Maybe the power used in the ammo has something to do with it?  It just made an impression on me since it was unexpected.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
