Seems like folks on both sides can get caught up in twisting words or also falling for how the MSM presents the story.
I have no idea about the FB page in question nor do I care to venture there, but someone I respect got all wound up in response that the shop guy (that was apparently defending himself) was reported to have been arrested for murder and held. I wasn't following the story that closely, but what I did see what that he was arrested for homicide, which is what I understood was the standard procedure no matter the apparent cause/fault/etc. Yeah, that probably sucks for what appears to be a clear case of self-defense, but if that's the proper procedure, that's the proper procedure. Have to get to the facts and sometimes that takes time. Anyways, had the guy actually was arrested for murder and charged, that would be a different story.
So many jumping to conclusions and many times based on bad information or many times bad reporting. Like that incident where a cop was reported to have shot an unarmed man when he was on the ground. As it turned out from video that was technically true as the first shot was when the guy had a gun in his hand and second shot was in about a second when the guy threw his gun over the fence and was falling to the ground. If the news only reports "officer shoots unarmed man shot while on the ground surrendering", then yeah, that's something else. But after watching video of the incident, you get a different story. Also, keep in mind that much of the analysis has the benefit of slow motion and in the comfort of an office environment, where your heart rate is at it's normal resting rate.
