Just yesterday, two drug crazed psychos duct taped up a little girl, and beat her mother to death with a baseball bat as was working, cleaning a rental home on the north shore.

This incident may or may not have had a better outcome with CCW in Hawaii, but if it were me, I would want that option of self protection.

That's sad. I hope our justice system throws everything at these people and not treat them like Randal Saito.
Empower the people. Give US the option. Pass CCW NOW!

The home state must be may issue.   The law makers figured it would be a non issue since all the state's need to be at least a may issue

If the Hudson bill makes it into law, I plan to legally change my legal residence back to Washington state, a shall issue state.
I'll swap everything from Hawaii licenses to back to WA state.  I'll have a residence since I have family there with extra rooms to "rent"
so I'll have a physical address. The hunting is better there anyway.  My vote will certainly count for once.
I'll then spend most of my time visiting my wife at our home in Hawaii.   She will stay as a legal Hawaii resident .
That is my plan.

So the Dems took over the House and Pelosi will get the Speaker job back.  Does this mean HR38 and National Reciprocity is dead for the foreseeable future?

HR38 dies at the end of the year.  Congress goes through 2 year cycles.  It wouldn't have passed anyways unless republicans had a supermajority or more in the Senate.  It was a bad bill anyways.

Bummer. They should have packaged it together with something the democrats want and republicans could praise as well. Citizenship for DACA people, for example.

Republicans had control of both the house and Senate for 2 years.
There was no need to compromise on anything
The las Vegas shooting killed a lot of the pro 2a momentum and thorn they just slowly let it fade away

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them really didn't care about CCW reciprocity.

It wouldve need 61 or 62 republicans in the Senate.  We only had 51

Sadly, I suspect the same.

And that's IF they were all on the same page.  That's a big IF.
