It makes sense that the Liberals, Socialists and Trump haters step up their insults and hateful rhetoric now.  Trump has proven he gets results.  His accomplishments speak for themselves, whether or not you agree with the policies.

In light of his success, he's more likely to increase his Tweeting and misdirection of the media, not back off.  That terrifies the people who think his ideas are bad, dangerous, stupid, etc.

He's kept more promises and has had more impact on HOPE in the country than Obama did in 8 years.  Obama was the tease that never delivered while picking your pocket.

Trump represents a real threat to the Democrats and establishment Republicans.  They will all be doing as much as they can to continue downplaying his successes and over-emphasizing his gaffes.

I don't expect the anti-Trump attacks to stop (this thread is a perfect example).  I expect him to go full speed ahead!

Stay off the tracks, or get run over by the Trump Train!         :D

I have been on the fence regarding Trump since the election. He has done a lot of good for our country. And has done some stupid things as well. Overall I am happy with his performance. But unhappy with some of his actions.

Here is an article that is about a month old so some things are no longer applicable.

I think Trump has learned from his mistakes and is now correcting some and changing others. I think he still needs some polishing. On the other hand, his command of the MSM is masterful when he does it correctly.

Flapp you're fixated on showing off how "smart" you are - Ad hominem -  how condescending.  How long did it take you to look that one up on google?
That is an extremely common term among somewhat literate people.  if it is strange to you, it is not to most everyone else.

I tend to tone down my vocabulary so as not to intimidate, but occasionally some words just work better.  Blame the education system, not writers.

I still get blindsided infrequently and then and just look it up.  Usually millennial slang..........

I don't believe it's genius. Often, he says one thing, supports the opposite, and then says something trite like "we'll see" or "I don't know, you tell me". Sounds like idiocy to me. It becomes really hard to keep track of his positions.

And I'm sure FJ's favorite...

Obama did something similar. Being nebulous gives the con artist more wiggle room, and invites people to project their own desires on him regardless of the results. The problem with the dictators who rise to power after the scoundrels ultimately fail is that they spell out exactly what they want in perfect clarity, and it's usually something horrible..

IMHO, He is moving the country forward in a positive direction.  His methods are DIFFERENT.,  But that friends, is the express reason he got elected.  The American people had enough of the status quo politician.

Every thing, body, and person that wanted to hold dear that status quo is on the relentless attack,  both parties, media, hollywood, et aL...,  and when I see that, seems to me he's doing the right thing.  At the very lest he's getting some people to start to look with their own eyes as opposed to keep being spoon fed by whatever political media propagandizes.

I am liking to see how these things are playing out.  We as a family are already doing 100% better in this first year,  the past 8 years was a struggle, in all areas.  That's my meter, and my opinion.

We've begged for politicians to actually do something instead of talk and make promises.  President Trump talks a metric ton of shit but gets things done and people are still upset.  Too much winning..... So much winning I'm almost sick of it.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

Whether you like or dislike Trump, you have to agree he's entertaining or at least captivating.  I don't think any politician has gotten so much attention and he's spreading awareness for people that wouldn't otherwise pay attention to issues.

Yeah.  It's both refreshing and sad when it's almost a surprise when politicians follow through with that they said that they would.

I agree with that.

I could do without the circus environment that seems to surround everything that he does.  Granted much of that really is what the MSM makes of it, but a good amount of it is from him.  By design to throw opposition off balance?  While I hope so, sometimes I do wonder.  But again, he's doing a lot of good things where it counts.

Yep. I believe the circus environment is the direct result of MSM's deliberate and constant bash campaign.   The design of his antics obviously throws them through a loop.  He's serious when needed, but when EVERY story is spun negative, I don't blame him for being straight forward and brash.

Doesn't sound like a genius to me. I guess Manafort and Conway were responsible for Trump's win?

”Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.

”Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base — he’s only in it for himself.

”Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.

“We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.”

I heard on the radio that many in the Dem party are calling for Pelosi to step down as minority speaker.  The discussion was something like Pelosi is viewed as all that is hated about the Dem party now and the guest speaker said something like "well, that is what the Rep are portraying her as" and something about it being unfair and unsubstantiated.  Hi kettle, I'm pot.  You're black!
