I want to see Trump testify under oath just for shits and giggles.

They will ask him questions so far out of bounds and irrelevant and he will either talk around them, lie out of his ass or suffer from amnesia.
It will make a great SNL skit.  :D

Can you imagine the questions Crazy Mazie would ask?

Answer to every ridiculous question that doesn't even have relevance to anything of significance: " Witch Hunt"

I have a strange feeling that a non sensical impeachment is in the works. Not sure if he is guilty about anything yet. I need to hear more facts before I make up my mind. So far I don’t see anything but my gut tells me otherwise.

Wont happen because he knows theyre gonna ask a non related small question (under oath). Then rephraze same question and get a diff answer. Then boom purjury charge.

Having questions asked of someone under oath doesn't mean that ALL the truth automatically comes out.  Depends on the context/venue of the testimony.  It's when you lie under oath or make statements that are inconsistent with past statements where one can get in trouble.  That said, I would agree that it would be interesting to see Trump testify in an uncensored manner.  I think he's more of a "more balls than brains" kind of person.

I've had to give testimony under oath a bunch of times for work.  I used to get all worried about EVERYTHING coming out, but at least for my work, the focus of testimony is usually pretty focused.  Where if I don't open doors, many times they aren't usually opened by those asking the questions. It's typically when I open those doors, when not needed, is when you enter a danger zone, or at least grey zone.

Never volunteer information, answer specifically the question being asked in as few words as possible.

Add to that often times you can be asked for information (like opinions) that you can't or shouldn't answer, even if you wanted to, based on the scope of the investigation or your job.

"I don't recall" was probably on my recent deposition thousands of times.   ;D

The diff is people who were asking u the questions, were not looking for a reason to catch u.

Oh yes they are!  While not necessarily criminal, if you're getting deposed, they are ALWAYS looking for something.

The investigations are for campaign finance fraud which is an impeachable offense. I don’t think the Dems are gonna impeach him but they’ll get as close as they can. Unfortunately, Pelosi and Schumer aren’t taking any shit from POTUS these days.

Exactly. Despite the GOP being in control of both Congress in 2014, nothing came of it.

So what do you think about Trump saying he was willing to shut down the government just to get wall funding?

As I understand it campaign finance violations are actually quite common so often we don't hear much about them unless they get quite a bit larger.

My gut feeling is that the House will proceed with impeachment. Still not sure if Trump has done enough to warrant the impeachment but my gut feeling is that it will happen. Here Ben Shapiro makes the case for possible impeachment:

I think the Dems will try to avoid the impeachment trap following the 1998 acquittal and downfall of Gingrich. Right now it’s all circumstantial evidence which is usable in a criminal case but not in the Senate. The Dems need a smocking gun before they can impeach.

He has an interesting conclusion.

“That’s unworkable. And it means that Trump isn’t going anywhere. Instead, he’ll likely be impeached by a Democratic House if the expected indictments drop, and then acquitted by the Senate. At that point, the Southern District of New York will threaten Trump with criminal indictment upon him leaving office, which means that he won’t be able to resign without the possibility of jail time. That means 2020 will be a battle over whether Trump should go to prison. The Democratic slogan will become “Lock him up!” and the Republican slogan will become “Witch hunt!”
Buckle your seatbelts. It’s going to be a bumpy two years.”

I hope you are right about the impeachment. But my gut tells me otherwise. I think the Dems constituents are so mad about the Dems not attempting impeachment even without the majority that they will do it because of the demand. But personally I think it is political suicide for them if they do.
