You can always count on the Washington Post crew to come through with the leftist strategic moves:

Washington Post Reporter Tries to Get GoFundMe Border Wall Fundraiser Taken Down

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/12/washington-post-reporter-tries-to-get-gofundme-border-wall-fundraiser-taken-down/

Reporters used to report the news. Reporters used to stand up for free speech. All that is gone in the Progressive Era of news as the likes of CNN’s Oliver Darcy use their reporting to censor the news and free speech by campaigning to get their competitors and ideological opponents deplatformed or driven off the air by advertiser boycotts.

Now comes the Washington Post’s tech policy reporter Tony Romm who attempted to get the wildly popular border wall fundraiser taken down by GoFundMe.

The fundraiser by triple-amputee Iraq war veteran Brian Kolfage has raised an astonishing $6.5 million (and climbing) in just a few days since it was started December 16. (Link to GoFundMe page.)

Romm tweeted Thursday about his attempt, writing, “So there’s an effort on GoFundMe to raise cash money for a border wall. Has more than $5M in donations (seeking $1B) and claims to have contacts in the Trump admin (have asked for more). But it got me thinking: is that, like, allowed on the site? (1/3)”

“GoFundMe terms prohibit attempts to raise cash money rooted in “intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases,” among other limits (2/3)”

“So I asked GoFundMe if this wall fundraiser violates that. Spox: “This campaign does not violate our terms of service. The funds are safely held by our payment processor and we will work with the organizer to transfer funds” or return them if target isn’t met (3/3)”

* * * * *
And in the same vein we have this:

Leftists Respond to #GoFundTheWall By Launching Fundraiser for ‘Ladders’ so Illegal Aliens Can Climb Over

The fundraiser is titled, “Ladders to Get Over Trump’s Wall,” but donations will likely be going to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, which provides legal aid for illegal aliens.

“And even though at a rate of $1.7 million daily, it would take their fund about 35 years to raise the $21.7 billion that Trump’s own Dept. of Homeland Security says would be needed  to build said wall, we wanna make sure ladders are ready to send over to our undocumented friends and help them,” the campaign statement reads. “Should we not reach our goal–or should they (ahem) not reach theirs–all funds raised will go to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) , a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.”

It was predictable Leftists would try to shut the GoFundMe page down.  I also saw MSM sites like USA Today trying to dissuade people from donating as giving money to the gov't is not as simple as it pretends.

They'll be attacking more and more as the donation amounts climb. It's approaching $8M at the moment.  I'm hoping a few well-to-do supporters kick in some big donations to keep up the momentum.

It’s nice to see people voting with their wallets. They want the wall. They are willing to give some of their hard earned money for it.

In spite of the Democrats.  >:(

House OKs [206 Yea and 157 Nay] spending bill with over $5B attached for border wall, sending to Senate as shutdown looms

That's 100% of the Dems Nay, plus 8 RINOS Nay.

Trump called Rush Limbaugh and told him in no uncertain terms he would be vetoing the spending bill if it doesn't include funding for the wall.

Kicking the border wall "can" down the road a 5th time and hoping the Dem-controlled House will fund the wall in February would have been a horrible move for the GOP lawmakers.  I think they finally got that message.

The GoFundMe total is now at $9.6M.  I think it'll break the $10M mark before the day is done.

Personally, I think this has to be the right move for the Republicans. Because now you have the house approving the continuation funding to keep the government open. And Trump has already said he will sign it if it includes at least $5B, which it does. So if it doesn’t pass the Senate it means the Democrats are the ones who shut down the government because this bill requires 60 votes. I would prefer that McConnel would grow a set and just use the nuclear option to try and pass this spending bill. But I don’t think he has big balls.  :o

Not sure how i feel about mad dog leaving. Things to ponder...

Most people Trump brings in are there to do a specific job. Once done, they leave (corporate style) or get fired if they dont perform. Mattis brought in to eljminate ISIS. Job done.

Most sec of def last only a few years anyways

Fake news didnt bash Mattis as much compared to other of his picks. Makes u go hmmmm...why didnt they bash him.

Mattis wants to stay in syria, trump says bring our boys home. Mattis has more xp about warfare, but syrias not our problem and costing american lives.

Did deep state get to mattis?

Even if McConnell goes nuclear and only needs 51, you've got assholes RINOS like Corker and Flake, et al., who can't be even slightly depended upon. I sure would like to see an unexpected (a couple of days ago) win for Trump on this one.

Senator Corker Gives Middle Finger to Americans – Taking Off to Chattanooga Tomorrow – Won’t Vote on Spending Bill

I think you had it right the first time. RINOS=ASSHOLES

I know the odds are against passage in the Senate. But if you look at it this way, if there is one or more Dems gone for the holiday for every RINO like Flake and Corker it gives our side a chance. It kinda works in our favor if Flake and Corker doesn’t show. We need to see what the total number in the Senate is with R/D ratio.

Got a coworker with TDS. She mentioned we should stay in Syria and not bring our guys home.

She doesnt believe IsIS is wiped out. Told her thats old news.  Mattis announced it months ago.

I truley believe if Trump banned all guns, dems would support machine guns for all with no background check.

ISIS is everything but wiped out in Syria and any other place we have fought them.  Sure gains have been made but many places including these “so-called” shithole countries are sometimes needed.  Many of these places have many other governments to include our own hands in their cookie jar of affairs.  Mattis leaving is another casualty in this shit show of a presidency. Mattis understood the need for alliances and that for our own interests you have to play well with others all while remaining firm.  Funny to see how many will come out of the woodworks to bash him now that he can no longer tolerate Boss Baby Trump🤷🏽‍♀️

Our allies hate trump anyways. So hows he supposted to "build allies" if they all hate him. And all b4 he even took office because hes not in the "club".

Who sponsored the FISA? Our allies MI6 (Brittian).

What does our German allies say about him (Markel)

Or Canada (Treudeu)

How about England (Royal Wedding invite)

So Trump treats them how they treated him. America 1st.

He hass the balls to say f-em.

We bailed the english, britts, french out in ww1 and 2.

They only helped us in the war on terror just for show. We didnt need their help and they sent minimal troops anyways. I do give Prince Harry mad props for being in A-stan.

Only war we would need out allies is if we went to war with Russia or China. But i dont think either side is dumb enough to start a war against a major power.  To many losses on both sides.

Alliances are worthy when we need those remote satellite islands, airstrips and airspace etc. for force projection purposes.

Well that certainly is one way to fund the wall.

Trump got 63 million votes. If everyone one of his voters donated $80 they could get the 5 billion dollar wall funded without needing congress.
