What if funding for the wall was in the last military spending bill? Built by seabees?

Gov shutdown is cause something big is coming? 12/26?

What if Trump told Mexico to pay for the wall, to build it on THEIR side of the border, and he'd increase foreign aid to cover the costs?

Mexico would benefit from new jobs, they'd have fewer caravans wreaking havoc on their cities since entering the US would not be guaranteed, and it would eliminate all those pesky court battles in the US over eminent domain.

Mexico already has a wall on their southern border, so a northern one wouldn't be a totally new thing for them.

Fake news working hard today.  Had articles on the main feeds.

Ivanka and Kushner going on vacation during the shut down (even though they're not being paid a salary)
Trump and his heal spurs that kept him out of nam (doctors daughter is speaking out).  I'm sure she's not being paid anything.
Trump and something about eating a rabbit from a 7 year old who called him on x-mas

I'm willing to be he used Russian salad dressing during x-mas dinner and that will be the next story.

TDS is no joke. Went on yahoo this morning and they had an article about Trump saying he's pulling out of Syria.  By lunch time, Yahoo deleted many pro Trump comments and only liberal ones were left.  They all were upset about leaving Syria and compared him to Nixon and Nam and how Nixon should have left us in Nam.

NBC published a scathing article about how Trump is the first President since 2002 to not visit troops, a base, or military hospital on Christmas Day.

He was already airborne and later landed in Iraq to visit with the troops there for the holiday.

Montel Williams had to put his 2 cents in as well.  Talk about a hypocrite!  This is the Christmas Spirit he wants to lecture Trump on??

Libs now saying he went to Iraq only after their criticism of him.  I guess a president can just up and visit a war zone with no advance team.  Not sure when the last time a first lady went to a war zone either.

I really do think after the Syria thing, if he cured cancer, libs would be angry.

I asked you nicely to quit quoting me and now you want to be a dick to me? All because I don’t want to talk to you anymore because you are being intellectually dishonest? Are you that desperate for attention? Honor my request.

Seriously? Not only was this an entirely separate subject nothing in my comment was the least bit insulting. It was just an idea for an alternative way to pay for the wall, piggybacking of the go fund me idea.

I don't know why there must be such hostility here, you are taking this too personally.

Another person's perspective published in the WSJ (similar to my comments earlier) regarding the press' coverage of President Trump's visit with US troops in Iraq.

The guy needs an autocorrect otherwise he’s just gonna continue to make himself look stupid.  Unless he’s actually gonna pony up the dough for the 10% raise he promised the troops 🤷🏽‍♀️

Words he tweets are purposely misspelled or have a capital in the front of them for a reason....

What do mistakes on Twitter have to do with military pay?

He told the troops he was personally giving them a 10% pay raise.

He told the troops he was personally giving them a 10% pay raise.

I don't know where you get your "news", but if you watch the speech, he merely said he told those doing the budget to give the military 10% or more because they deserve it.

It was not a promise.  It sure wasn't a promise to "personally" give them a 10% raise.

It was not a report of the actual number, which was less than 10%.

It was his praise of the military by saying they deserve at least 10%.

Well that’s one way of interpreting what he said. I guess they should be happy for the first raise they’ve received in 10 years. They probably are about as excited as all of the federal workers affected by the shutdown who personally thanked Trump😂😂😂
