Know they are anti-gun but they got some good benefits. Anything out there that is just as good but supports 2A? :shaka:

I do not care what benefits they might have..

Their enthusiastic support for Obungacare hugely pissed me off, same with Consumer Reports.  I do not forgive or forget that sort of treachery.

For anyone interested, here's a link I used yesterday for a free one-year membership with AMAC.  They expect the welcome packet to arrive within 6 weeks.

I figure it's a good way to check them out for awhile with no real commitment.

Just don't give them any money. Get as much free services out of them as possible to drain their account!

I resurrected this topic and I now have over a year under my belt with AMAC.

So far AMAC has been great for me and my wife. I have only used them for my wife’s Medicare Supplement Plan and her Medicare Part D Prescription Plan. Learning about Medicare and all the parts is not easy. You can get bad info and correct info. But the correct info is so full of holes it requires someone to talk to in order to explain what you think you read on the Medicare website. And the insurance agents working for AMAC have been very patient and actually got a supplement plan for my wife that covers her better than all other plans and at a price lower than best the AARP plan.

While Medicare Parts A & B were relatively easy to understand most aspects, the Part D Drug Plan is extremely complicated if you take 10 prescriptions like my wife does. The Medicare.GOV website is very comprehensive, it leaves a lot to interpretation. Thereby you need a good agent to explain things. AMAC was not able to get my wife the best price for her drug plan. It turns out that the best AARP plan is the best for her. But AMAC was more than willing to let us know they couldn’t do what was best for her even tho they also couldn’t tell her which plan was the best. So we had to do our own Due Diligence to discover which plan she referred to us about being the cheapest. That is total honesty. She spent 2 hours on the phone with us and never made a sale. Turns out most plans ranged from $11k to $15k a year for her drugs. But she told us this “other” plan (AARP) was $4.2k a year. When we first called United Health to sign up for the plan we got a shit agent. So I hung up on him and called back and got a knowledgeable agent.

After we move I am going to look into AMAC’s cellular plans, Insurance for myself (It’s Obamacare) and maybe some travel options. They have other senior programs I’ll eventually take advantage of in the future. So far I have been very happy with them. So much so I renewed my first year free to a 5 year subscription for $60. I got well more than $60 worth of help on Medicare questions alone.

I never made it back to report since I never took advantage of their offerings.  Can't form an opinion that way.

Glad you like them.  Maybe when I'm in the retirement boat, this'll be more useful for me.
