The unavoidable point is that our current gun culture is all about defense, circling the wagons, etc while the antis are using Colour Revolution tactics to make a bigger tent.

2a forums are plagued with racism, homophobia, anti-muslim hate speech, worship of the police state/military interventionism, climate change denial, anti abortion rants, pro-corporate-welfare propaganda, and if someone has a different opinion then they get shouted down and encircled for a group attack.

Not everyone gets the armed revolution thing. It takes some explaining, but put in the proper context it makes perfect sense. I get it because I lean more towards Socialism (not the Sunday school Bernie Sanders version). That means on this one issue we are natural allies, so I'm willing to overlook some of our other differences in order to achieve a common goal.

Either we grow the tent or 2a is dead.

Yeah.  Right.  Not calling actual terrorists "terrorists" will stop the anti-gun activists from calling the NRA, legal gun owners and 2A supporters terrorists.

I guess there's a first time for everything, but I'm not holding my breath.   After that happens, we can work on "Nazi", "Fascist", "Racist", ....

If you call that one kid a terrorist then you might have a point, but calling 1.5 billion people terrorists is just plain silly.
